Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about BountyReach
General
What is BountyReach?
BountyReach is a performance-based marketplace that connects indie app founders with TikTok content creators. Founders post campaigns with set bounties, and creators earn money by submitting videos that meet the campaign requirements.
How is BountyReach different from other influencer platforms?
Unlike traditional platforms, BountyReach uses objective rules for content acceptance - not subjective taste. We have $0 platform fees, escrow-protected payments, and a 48-hour auto-accept window to protect creators from being ghosted.
Is BountyReach free to use?
Yes! There are no platform fees for either founders or creators. Founders pay only for the videos they receive, and creators keep 100% of their earnings (minus standard payment processing fees from Stripe).
For Founders
How do I create a campaign?
Sign up as a founder, click 'New Campaign', fill in your app details, set your price per video, define your content guidelines (what you want and what's not allowed), and fund your escrow. Once activated, creators can start claiming slots.
How does the escrow system work?
When you activate a campaign, the full bounty amount is held in escrow. When you accept a submission, payment is released to the creator. If you don't review within your review window (default 48 hours), submissions are auto-accepted.
Can I reject submissions?
Yes, but only if they violate your explicitly stated 'Not Allowed' rules. You cannot reject based on taste or quality preferences not mentioned in your guidelines. This ensures fair treatment for creators.
What are performance bonuses?
You can set up optional bonuses that unlock when a video reaches certain view milestones (e.g., +$15 at 10K views, +$50 at 100K views). These are paid automatically when views are verified.
What happens to unused escrow funds?
If your campaign ends with unused slots (unclaimed or expired), the remaining escrow balance is returned to your account and can be withdrawn or used for new campaigns.
For Creators
How do I start earning on BountyReach?
Sign up as a creator, browse available campaigns, and claim slots that match your content style. Once claimed, create a TikTok video following the guidelines and submit the link. Get paid when your video is accepted!
How do I get paid?
You'll need to connect your Stripe account for payouts. Once your submission is accepted (either by the founder or via auto-accept), payment is released to your Stripe account immediately.
What happens if the founder doesn't respond?
Every campaign has a review window (typically 48 hours). If the founder doesn't accept or reject your submission within that time, it's automatically accepted and you get paid. No more ghosting!
Can founders reject my video unfairly?
Rejections must be based on violations of the stated 'Not Allowed' rules. If your video follows all the guidelines but gets rejected, you can dispute the decision. We take fair treatment seriously.
Do I need a large following?
No! BountyReach is about content quality, not follower count. Some campaigns may have minimum view requirements for bonus payouts, but anyone can claim campaigns and earn the base bounty.
Can I delete my video after getting paid?
Campaign terms vary, but generally you should keep your video up for the duration specified in the campaign. Deleting videos prematurely may affect your ability to participate in future campaigns.
Payments
What payment methods are supported?
All payments are processed through Stripe. Founders can pay with credit/debit cards. Creators can receive payouts to their bank account, debit card, or other methods supported by Stripe in their country.
Are there any fees?
BountyReach charges $0 in platform fees. Standard Stripe processing fees apply (typically 2.9% + 30¢ for card payments). Payout fees vary by country and method.
How long do payouts take?
Once a submission is accepted, the payout is initiated immediately. Depending on your Stripe settings and bank, funds typically arrive within 1-3 business days.
